The Institute of Circuit Technology

37th Annual Symposium and AGM

Supported by Ventec-Europe

The Institute of Circuit Technology are pleased to announce their 37th Annual Symposium on Wednesday 1st June 2011. The Symposium is being held at Coventry University TechnoCentre , Coventry University Technology Park, organised in collaboration with the Sonochemistry Centre at Coventry University and will be free to our Members.

The theme this year will be  ‘Complex PCB Solutions’ with six papers from leading authorities in this technology dependant area.

Once upon a time our competitors in Asia offered just low cost, high volume with low technology and lengthy lead times...

Now they still offer low costs but accept lower volumes, impressive technology and with delivery from 10 days ...

This may be simplistic, but what 'the west' can offer our customers is not just rapid QTA, but particularly the engineering support for advanced PCB designs which involve complex engineering solutions.

We often hear from fabricators that most of the orders they receive are never straight forward to make and require significant engineering input which can result in them being very busy but struggling to make decent profits.

'Are you busy but struggling to make decent profits?'

The ICT symposium will address and seek to provide advice and support for
the  various issues involved in complex PCBs from material to finishes.

We can accept papers from a very wide background with this theme.

We will also be holding a tabletop exhibition and the event will be structured to allow sufficient time for socialising and networking over a restaurant lunch.
